Tyler Sanden

I have been involved in athletics my whole life, but my real passion and drive for fitness and for sharing fitness came when I discovered CrossFit. As soon as I began my journey into CrossFit I went through a paradigm shift, and changed from doing fitness training for aesthetic reasons (bodybuilding), to fitness training for the purpose of being “good at life”. Functional Fitness is now my mantra when training, or teaching. CrossFit has changed my life, and I’m driven by the ability to share that change with others. Seeing clients transform their bodies and their life through the lessons that CrossFit teaches, and being able to share in those transformations, is a truly rewarding experience. I get to share in the joy every time someone achieves their first pull-up, learns how to skip, or achieves a PR for a workout. My experiences in competing in the CrossFit Regional’s in 2009, and CrossFit Sectionals in 2010 have shown me that there really is no upper limit to the level of fitness you can achieve, and I strive for that in myself, and in the people that I teach.
